Unfortunately I have not been able to focus a lot in this blog, emails and contacts keep coming in from more of you that have experience the feeling of doing something not every one understands... Here are couple of more pictures to practice your blur.
Out of a population of 26, 76% does not wear glasses and most of us have discovered the ability between 6 & 7 years old.
What do we use this ability for? Here are some examples: -If being upset or embarrassed, becomes easier to look at a person in the eye by blurring your vision. During a speech or recital in front of a crowd works well if you are nervous. -Comparing details of objects, "altering" details so that an object might resemble something else, when tracking and targeting something, when scanning or looking about a room or other location. -Putting on a friend's glasses for the fun of it, you can see through them. -For artists and designers - blur your eyes to more easily distinguish between many colors as it simplifies it down. Or when looking at artworks and want to see the colors in a really simple way. -Also utilize to figure out hidden pictures, and to see auras. It makes connecting objects easier and enhances creativity. -It serves as a reality check for those who are into lucid dreaming. An aura is a field of gentle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object. Perhaps all matter manifests such an aura and in several occasions could be perceptible spontaneously or with practice: usually recognized and associated with the third eye.
It has been said that often people may perceive auras because of effects within the brain: or the influence of certain drugs. Other causes could consider disorders in the visual system creating optical effects. Eye fatigue can also produce an aura, sometimes referred to as eye burn. I have received couple of emails that some of you looking at other beings with enough blurred applied are able to perceive a surrounding, will this be the aura? What are the things that we do with this ability? I use it when I am tired. It makes my eyes feel more relaxed. I also do it when I don't want to make eye contact with a person without their knowledge. That way, if I am upset or embarrassed, I can look at the person in the eye. During a walk around the forest and paying attention to the environment and surroundings like the wind, vegetation, birds, etc, then suddenly I switched and blur my vision realizing something spectacular.
It is incredible how our minds get used to things around us so quick to a degree that our conscious mind is only aware of new objects or situations that require our attention. After holding the blurred vision for a while I started to gain that attention very high as everything looked different. Of course it also depends on the degree of your blurring. If you wanted to try the feeling of walking in another planet within your planet, this is your chance. I have brought the subject into a scientific forum to get additional opinions, as you can imagine it gets difficult when someone does not know or have experience the ability to do what we do.
During the discussion someone mentioned that to put this in simple terms just means to defocus your vision. My takes from here are that if some of us have the full muscle control and others have no interest is because there is not known benefits. But perhaps there is... We'll find out. If you are interested on this ability and want to try it here are some initial tips to activate the ciliary muscles, it does take a while but with enough practice you will manage.
Place your finger in front of your eyes and then focus your vision at it, although your eyes cross you will be able to see the background blurry. If you then move your finger away and manage to hold the blurred vision without crossing your eyes, you will feel the ciliary muscle a bit tense and relaxing it would refocus your vision. Being able to switch between both will give you full control. Please let me know if you manage and share your experience. I had a conversation with an eye specialist that promotes several exercises to improve vision, one of them in particular is called "accommodation" which basically consist of the movement of ciliary muscles through contracting and relaxing, this changes the shape of the crystalline lens and therefore blurry vision happens. He knew about this movement, but was not aware that some people can do it at will, and neither that we can hold the blurred for as long as we wish to. I have started to collect and analyze some data, most of us are not wearing glasses, perhaps this muscle contributes to improve our vision...
